Airframe Build Checklist

  1. Print and inspect all frame parts before final assembly.
  2. Dry-fit the wing and fuselage parts to confirm alignment and servo clearance.
  3. Install propulsion and control linkages, then verify full control-surface travel.
  4. Route power and signal wiring with strain relief at each moving section.
  5. Set center of gravity to the baseline target before first powered test.

Pre-flight Mechanical Validation

  • Fasteners: verify all frame and motor mounts are secured with thread locking where needed.
  • Control surfaces: ensure no binding through full range and confirm neutral positions.
  • Propulsion: check motor direction, prop orientation, and vibration-free spin-up.
  • Failsafe: verify RC link failsafe and disarm behavior before field deployment.
